Vapors containing hydrocarbons (HC) form in the vehicle's fuel tank. HC emissions are increasingly being subjected to more stringent restrictions resulting from sharper emissions-control legislation. In some cases, it is stipulated that the fuel systems carry out self-tests in order to monitor leaks. With is diagnosis module for fuel-tank leakage DM-TL, the Bosch Gasoline Systems Division provides a solution which can be integrated in every engine-management system.

Fuel supply modules measure the amount of fuel in the tank and ensure that the appropriate quantity of fuel is pumped to the engine at a constant rate, or in accor- dance with demands.

These fuel supply modules can comprise an electric fuel pump, a fuel filter, a fuel-pressure regulator valve, a fuel-level sensor, and a fuel reservoir. They are used for both gasoline and diesel engines.

  • Available for all common fuel-tank configurations
  • Outstanding quality level and long service life
  • Very compact and lightweight
  • Filter lasts as long as the in-tank unit

Fuel pumps are installed either as a component part of an in-tank unit, or they can be fitted directly in the fuel-supply circuit as an individual component. They are powered from the vehicle's electrical system, and are capable of pumping a variety of different fuels from the fuel tank to the engine. Our fuel pumps are used for engines covering a very wide range of power outputs: From the motorcycle up to large-displacement diesel or gasoline engines.
